The Shotgun motorcycle showcases a classic bobber design that is characterized by its elongated shape and low position. Its unique appearance includes a naked round headlamp with an offset console, bar-end mirrors, a single seat, a robust and shortened rear fender, and an all-black hardware package for an added touch of style. The paint scheme is also eye-catching – featuring a combination of blue and black shades with edgy graphics. In terms of features, the Shotgun offers a full-LED lighting system and a semi-digital console equipped with a Tripper navigation module for added convenience while riding.

The Shotgun 650 shares many cycle parts with the Super Meteor 650, such as alloy wheels, chunky tyres, and upside-down front forks. In fact, the frame of both bikes looks almost identical. Additionally, the Shotgun is equipped with the same visually striking 649cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin cylinder engine found in other 650 models from Royal Enfield. This powerful engine generates an output of 47bhp and 52Nm of torque and is coupled with a six-speed gearbox. However, it remains to be seen if any modifications have been made to the tuning of the motor specifically for the Shotgun model.

The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 stands out in its class as there are currently no other bobber-styled motorcycles available in India. It is anticipated that the pricing of this bobber will be lower by around Rs. 10,000 – 20,000 compared to the Super Meteor 650, which has a starting price of Rs. 3.54 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
