Redmi 12C Budget Smartphone Launched in China
Redmi, the leading smartphone brand, released their new phone Redmi 12C in China. Xiaomi‘s sub-brand also released their new budget smartphone on the same day as they released the Redmi K60 series. The successor to the Redmi 10C, the Redmi 12C is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor. The smartphone is available in 3 storage options. 4 colors are available for the polycarbonate panel and plastic frame.
Redmi 12C Budget Smartphone Launched in China
The 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant of the Redmi 12C can be purchased for just Rs. 8,400 and the top-end 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at 899 Yuan (roughly Rs. 10,800). There are four color options for the phone – Shadow Black, Sea Blue, Mint Green and Lavender.
The Redmi 12C has been launched, with support for a hybrid dual – SIM card (nano) slot. This smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor with Mali-G52 GPU, LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 flash memory. As with all Xiaomi phones, the storage size can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card.

The handset has a rectangular cutout at the back. It also has a camera with LED flash. Next to the camera module is the fingerprint scanner. The rear camera of the Redmi 12C is a 50-megapixel sensor. Meanwhile, the smartphone sports a 5-megapixel camera sensor on the front with a small dewdrop notch design.
The Redmi 12C sports a 6.71-inch HD+ (1650×720 pixels) resolution display with a 20:6:9 aspect ratio and 500 nits peak brightness. The handset has a 3.5mm headphone slot and a 5000mAh battery with a micro USB port for charging. A 12C 10W charging adapter is also available.
